Thanks for looking in to the research page. I am a teacher, not
a professional academic researcher but I try to be as careful as
possible.
I am particularly interested in assessment, including the ways in which
summative assessments are made, how they have changed over time, how
they are influenced by language and cultural elements, and the way in
which schools analyse their summative assessment data.
I am also interested in curriculum design, particularly in
progression from KS2 to KS5 during which time many students both develop
serious misconceptions and become turned-off from physics in particular,
and science in general. The new courses don't seem to have made
any difference to this, but maybe in a couple of years ...
Also, a bit random but, I got fed-up solving Sudoku
puzzles so I wrote a program to do it for me - download it here.
